  • AZ Sint Jan Bruges is not a Private hospital, the services can be compared with NHS hospitals but EOC patients receive good logistics.
• Prices of extra hospitalization or Intensive Care (most exceptional) are not included.
• Medical consultation with the surgeon and the dietician are included.
• Pre-operative tests: Only blood test is included.

Payment Conditions
• To secure your surgery date we require a deposit of €1000,00 for gastric band
   and € 1500 for all other procedures.
• Balance either by bank transfer 4 weeks prior to the surgery.

Cancelling your treatment
• Charges for cancelling after official booking in the hospital and the hotel in Bruges € 750.
• Charges for cancelling after pre-op program and consultation in hospital in Bruges € 1.500,-.

Prices are payable directly to the hospital and in Euros.

Optional Medical Services
• Extra cost for conversion from lap band to gastric bypass or stapling stomach to gastric bypass + € 600.
• Galbladder removal (cholecystectomy) only if this required for strict medical reasons € 600
• Private room in Bruges € 650 – booking 3 months in advance.
